DESCRIPTION:WORKSHOP EN MUSEUMBEZOEK NGTV (### English below ###) Op 19 mei
  vieren we als Vakgroep Engels en Regio Zuid-Holland - Zeeland - West-Brab
 ant samen een (klein) taalfeestje. In dit jubileumjaar staan daarom zowel 
 taaldiversiteit en multiculturaliteit centraal\, ook bij deze bijeenko
 mst van “English Meets (In) Rotterdam”. Eerst gaan we samen met Chr
 isty de Back aan de slag met moeilijk vertaalbare woorden. Daarna breng
 en we een bezoek aan Museum Fenix om ons helemaal onder te dompelen in he
 t thema migratie.  Je bent vanaf 10.00 uur welkom in het Verhalenhuis in 
 Rotterdam. Na de workshop genieten we gezamenlijk van een fijne lunch\, wa
 arna we naar Museum Fenix gaan. De workshop en het museumbezoek komen same
 n op 3 PE-punten. Een deel van de kosten voor de lunch en het museumkaartj
 e worden door het NGTV betaald\, dus voor leden komen de kosten op 25 euro
 .   Onder de deelnemers verloot Christy ook nog een leuk boek!  We he
 bben plek voor 30 mensen\, dus meld je snel aan!  Met vriendelijke groet\

 of May\, the English section and the Region Zuid-Holland - Zeeland - West-
 Brabant have planned a (modest) language party. NGTV is celebrating its 70
 th anniversary\, and this year will all be about language diversity and mu
 lticulturalism - and this meeting “English Meets (In) Rotterdam” is 
 all about that too. First up is a workshop led by Christy de Back about wo
 rds that are hard to translate. After lunch at the Vertaalhuis\, we will b
 e walking to Museum Fenix\, to be immersed into and learn more about migra
 tion.  Everyone is very welcome from 10 AM at the Verhalenhuis in Rotterd
 am. The workshop and museum visit together will come out at 3 PE credits. 
 Part of the costs for the lunch and the museum ticket are on us\, meaning 
 tickets for members are only 25 euros.   Christy also has a book as a r
 affle prize\, so you might walk away with not just a lot of information bu
 t also a great momento of a fun day!
